xev - print contents of X events

DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
_X_e_v creates a window and then asks the X server to send it
_e_v_e_n_t_s whenever anything happens to the window (such as
being moved, resized, typed in, clicked in, etc.). You can
also attach it to an existing window. It is useful for
seeing what causes events to occur and to display the
information that they contain.

This option specifies the X server to contact.

This option specifies the size and/or location of
the window.

This option specifies the border width for the
window.
----bbbbssss {_N_o_t_U_s_e_f_u_l,_W_h_e_n_M_a_p_p_e_d,_A_l_w_a_y_s}
This option specifies what kind of backing store to
give the window. The default is NotUseful.
----iiiidddd _w_i_n_d_o_w_i_d
This option specifies that the window with the given
id should be monitored, instead of creating a new
window.
----ssss This option specifies that save-unders should be
enabled on the window.
----nnnnaaaammmmeeee _s_t_r_i_n_g
This option specifies the name to assign to the
created window.
----rrrrvvvv This option specifies that the window should be in
reverse video.
